Allen-Bradley 1771-IK PLC-5 Encoder/Counter Module, 12-24V DC, Wiring Arm: 1771-WB; maintains a count, independent of the processor, of input pulses that typically originate from such devices as quadrature type encoders, high speed optical beam counters, and certain types of switches. The1771-IK module is capable of making decisions based on the count total by comparing it to previously programmed values and activating either one or both of its outputs based on the results of the comparison
